1/12/22 Forced Wipe • Rusty Wasteland PVE

It’s December, which means we’re preparing for the 1/12/22 Forced Wipe, the last forced wipe of the year!

Anyone who follows our Discord knows that the last weeks haven’t been the easiest for us. Unfortunately, both our cat and dog have health issues which resulted in many sleepless nights.

The changelog is not as big as we wanted it to be for this wipe, but we did have time to think about our plans for 2023 and I can say there will exciting and innovative things coming to the server next year.

Smart Warning System

This wipe we’re introducing the “Smart Warning” system. If you follow the rules, you probably will never see it appear on your screen though! This system allows staff to warn players in a quicker and easier way. And since the player gets a popup screen, they are forced to aknowledge the warning. That takes out the hit & miss warnings through notes and PM’s. Below you find two examples of the warning screen.

Christmas Town

Like the Halloween wipe, we have a Christmas themed town this wipe. Surrounded with a dark zone where it snows and the aurora lights up the sky! We have an exciting idea for next wipe, but more on that later…
